| Brief Bio (optional) | AE Ballakisten is a philosopher poet and social entrepreneur. He has published two volumes of poetry (Heap of Stones and Talking to a Tree), edited a volume (Our World, Better Together, as Athol Williams) and published a children's book (Oaky and the Sun) which he has donated to READ & RISE, a non-profit initiative which distributes books to children in poor communities. His poems have been published in New Contrast and other publications. He has read his poetry at international events, and is listed to read at the Chipping Campden Literature Festival (UK) in May 2014. He holds degrees (as Athol Williams) from Harvard, MIT, LBS and Wits. |
