I am a self taught poet and I started writing while I was still in higher primary after realising my strong command in the English language. That was just after 1998. I have been writing and trying to improve on my poetry and other forms of writing ever since. I am now a published and experienced poet and journalist. I was last working for the Mail and Guardian newspaper in Johannesburg while having had published my poetry on The New Coin (2009), the Oppikopi poetry compilation (2011) and others.
