My name is Khanyisile Victoria Mayedwa. I'm 18 years old. I've been a lover of poetry since I've been a little girl but more than that I'm a lover of books. In the year 2014 alone I've read around 30 books. I often get asked how I could read so many books but my secret is that I believe when one is reading it does not have to be for the purpose of learning or mental stimulation it could be just for the fun of it, that's why I read books such as The Harry Potter Series, Mortal Instruments Series,The Spud Series and Lemony Snicket A Series of Unfortunate Events (The Baudelaire Children) I've been writing short stories since I was a child mainly fiction but now I write about real life events and current topics that affect society, lately I've tried poetry but I think I need to improve.
