I like this. Women and girls are often told that in order to be successful you have to be independent. This poem illustrates that being independent is great and all, but we all need a degree of interdependence. Whether its on friends, the opposite sex or the same. Considering the amount of bad poetry in the world, I’m glad this wasn’t one of them.
